Star #12: Coral
Naruto crouched behind the nearest torn, twisted excuse for a tree, and tapped his headset with a sharp whisper.
“I’m in position.” There was a slight crackle in response, and a strange sputtering sound before Tenten’s voice slid through the receiver.
“Good work, Naruto. Sasuke, where are you?” Naruto strained to hear, eyes craned around the trunk as he sighted three Kirigakure border guards. His first instinct was to whip his head out of sight, but Rumi’s training echoed in his head. Don’t make any sudden movements. Shinobi are more likely t
Star #11: Naruto and Yagura
Naruto really didn’t think his reaction had been that unreasonable! He woke up punching his alarm clock, so why was Tenten so surprised when he immediately threw a fist straight at her face when she shook him awake? And she even dodged it! Really, what was the problem here?!
“The problem is that I’m not your alarm clock! You can’t just go down to the appliance store and ask for a replacement Tenten!” Snapped his teammate, slinging her dropped bag over her shoulder with a more burning glare than Sasuke’s fireballs.
“And I don’t nee
Star #10: The Fourth Mizukage
Sasuke wished he could say he didn’t know how he had ended up in this mess. But he knew, oh did he know! Hunched in a cave, drenched to the bone, next to the exiled Mizukage and his team, with a somehow laughing Tenten and sleeping Naruto! This was originally a freaking C-rank! But nooooo, of course it just couldn’t be some wild summons running around tearing apart a village with a powerful assassin behind it, because that would be too easy! The Uchiha groaned, rubbing his forehead and wiping futilely at the droplets clinging to his signature hairstyle.
When they had gone to Kyosetsu
Chapter 4: Yukine and Yato
Yato woke up slowly, blue eyes still glazed with sleep as he forced them open with a yawn. He had slept over at the hospital, refusing to leave Yukine’s side in case the kid started freaking out again. He had been offered a bed there which he had been intending to take, but as he pushed himself up off the edge of his shinki’s cot, he guessed he had fallen asleep there. He yawned again, rubbing at his eyes tiredly.
“Morning, Mr. Sweaty Jersey God.” Yato’s breath froze in his throat, his mind nearly short-circuiting. And, very, very slowly, he raised his shaking
Chapter 3: Reassurance
Yukine teetered as he left the ruins, steadying himself on the pillar on his way out. He was limping, his clothes were shredded, and he was bleeding, well, everywhere. There was no way he was getting out of this without explaining himself to—
“Yukine!” The blonde hafuri turned his head slightly, one hand gripping his side and hair matted with blood. Yato was running towards him, a green helmet on his head….and Erina was racing up behind him, her motorcycle bumping alongside her….why were they so blurry?....he guessed it didn’t matter….ah, Yato was sayin
Chapter 2: Boundaries
“You’re right on time, Yukine-kun,” crooned Nora as she stood from a stone bench within what was once the throne room. Now all that was left of the grandeur was a half-blasted wall to his right, a pile of stone behind his opponent, a pillar behind him, and the aforementioned bench. Basically, there was little left to destroy.
“Could hardly wait,” he replied shortly. “Any rules I should know about, or just a good old all-out boundary lines war?” Nora giggled in response, but she did that at everything, so Yukine just waited until she was done.

Chapter 1: An Invitation
Yukine finished hanging up the laundry with a smile, straightening out the creases and letting out a cheerful sigh. He had completed his chores for the day, and could finally get to that assignment Hiyori had given him. Sure, he would have to go to the library to check out the book she had been talking about, but he couldn’t pretend to regret getting out of the house. Yato hadn’t had any calls all day, and he was annoyingly antsy. Honestly, Yukine would have probably finished his chores about two hours ago if Yato hadn’

Yukine and Fevers Don't Mix
Yukine turned over in the well-lit room, keeping his back to Yato as he dissolved into a fit of coughing. He stuffed his face into the pillow to muffle the sound and felt the heavy fabric of the blanket on top of him acutely. Peeking over his shoulder, Yukine let out a sigh of deep relief when he saw that Yato hadn’t stirred, even though the heavy breath scratched at his throat. One minute, he was practically on fire, but as soon as he kicked the covers off, he froze straight to solid ice. It was infuriating! Shivering restlessly, Yukine grabbed the glass of water nearby his bed and gulped it down, soothing his sore throat a
“Yu~ki~ne~”
“Shut up!” Snapped the blonde regalia, turning crossly from his math notebook and glaring at Yato. The navy-haired god threw up his arms poutily and rolled around on the floor like a disgruntled worm.
“But it’s so booooooring! Why doesn’t anyone caaaaall?” He whined, rolling so fast he made Yukine nauseous. Then he ran into the table and curled in on himself with a cry of pain. Yukine sighed, turning back to his notebook and pressing his fingers to his forehead, wondering how his god could have so much energy. He was completely exhausted from all
“All right, we’re here already! Now, for crying out loud, put me down!” Practically screamed Killua as Gon unlocked the door to their hotel room.
“Noooooooo way! You got a direct shot of fire Nen to your feet! You can’t even stand!” Pouted Gon, looking over his shoulder at the grumpy white-haired boy.
“Yes I can! And you’ve stood through worse too!”
“No I haven’t! You never let me!” Replied Gon, opening the door and shifting Killua on his back to help him through the entrance. The taller boy groaned at the gesture and droppe
